Based in Wellington, New Zealand, Kimberley Day's bridal wear is beautifully designed and made just for you. Each dress is a unique creation, designed in partnership between Kimberley and you, the bride, to create a gown that fits and flatters you while still expressing your own individual style and personality.

There is nothing quite like the experience of having a beautifully constructed custom gown made for you. From the initial design sketches, patterns hand drafted to your measurements, calico fittings and quality finishing,  you will feel beautiful inside and out. Each dress is handmade by Kimberley using quality fabrics and couture finishes.

 

About Kimberley Day

Kimberley has over 15 years' experience in the fashion industry working as a designer, patternmaker and custom dressmaker.  Her love of sewing has grown considerably since her mother first helped her to sew a skirt when she was only 8 years old!

Kimberley studied Fashion Design at Massey Wellington, earning her diploma in 1999. Since then she has worked closely with many successful designers around New Zealand.  Over the years her desire to create one-off, beautiful garments for individuals has continued, she enjoys the new opportunities and inspiring design challenges each client brings.
